School Nurse Message

School Nurse Message

Welcome to the Health Office!

As your school nurse, my goal is to support the health and well-being of all students so they can learn and thrive throughout the school year. I am here to assist with health concerns, provide first aid, manage chronic conditions, and promote healthy habits.

A few reminders for the school year:

  • If your child is sick, please keep them home until they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication.

  • All medications (prescription or over-the-counter) must be stored and administered in the Health Office with proper documentation.

  • Please make sure we have up-to-date emergency contact and medical information.

  • Annual health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) will be conducted as scheduled.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I'm here to help!

School Nurse with Students

Brooke Rochelle-School Nurse

Mrs. Rochelle always wanted to be a teacher growing up, but ended up becoming a nurse instead. She married her college sweetheart in college and they now have three children and a dog. Initially, Rochelle started her career as a school nurse, but then went to work inthe neonatal ICU (with tiny babies) for a next. Next, Rochelle worked in clinical nursing and has now made a full circle back to the being a school nurse. With the love for teaching and nursing, school nursing is the best of both worlds!

Fun Facts:

Her favorite book is Little House on the Prarie.

Her favorite quote is “You will never influence the world by trying to be like it.”

Her dream vacation was going to Greece, where she and her husband went on their 15th year anniversary. Rochelle stated, “Nothing beats swimming in the Mediterranean Sea!”

Something students might be surprised to learn about Mrs. Rochelle is that she was a multi-sport athlete and played tennis in college. She stated, “I am a very quiet and reserved person, but I am a relentless competitor. Just ask Coach Ro about some of our ping pong battles!”
